In 1835 the story "The Emperor's New Clothes" was published in Copenhagen. In December 2009 the same Copenhagen welcomes the ClimateEmperor Obama dressed up in wind woven clothes, swearing to choke with them the Global Warming. Is there still a child left who'll dare to say that the Emperor is naked?

Conned with the Wind.Obama's Climatic Hoax.
Georges Metanomski.
Every member of a national or local anti-wind energy organization should be encouraged to carry a copy of Conned with the Wind with them as they endeavour to persuade their fellow citizens that the whole idea of wind energy is a con. Indeed possession of the book should be almost mandatory as a criterion for membership and the publication should be mailed to every politician, newspaper and media outlet in the land.
Every campaigner and public speaker on the subject of the wind as a source of green energy should carry this brilliant exposé as part of his toolkit whilst on his or her anti-windmill crusade and wave it in the faces of the acolytes of the air currents as a viable source of power, much like Chairman Mao's little red book was waved in the faces of the Chinese hoi polloi to warn against the behaviour of the blindfolded man trying to catch sparrows, and the 'Imperial envoy' descending from his carriage to 'spout opinions.'
As could be expected from a brilliant student who studied under Einstein himself Metanomski has researched and organised his data on the subject with punctilious care. Although the author naturally points to the aesthetic damage to the environment caused by revolving monsters redolent of H. G. Wells' alien behemoths marching across the landscape in his War of the Worlds, and mentions how the German League of Landscape Protection compares wind turbines' devastation of the environment with that of the Thirty Years War, the emphasis here is on the mechanico-scientific and economic craziness of the whole idea plus the projects' panic-generating leverage potential that proves so advantageous to certain manipulative politicians on a personal power-trip of their own.
For the wind turbine enthusiast reading this book Metanomski's revelations will come as unexpected an experience as the Chaucerian character Absolom's was when Alison's student lover Nicholas broke wind in his rival's face in The Wife of Bath's Tale. Metanomski's arguments are sound, empirically based, meticulously researched and falsifiable. This does not mean that his claims are false; rather, that if they were false, then this can be shown by observation or experiment.
The conclusions are certain to take the wind out of any well-meaning environmentalist's sails and the carefully presented scientific facts would even put a smile on the face of Karl Popper himself. I read Conned with the Wind and it completely converted me to Metanomski's position - I urge you to read it too - before it is too late!
